Preparations before starting the Diesel Pellet Mill machine
First, unscrew the water tank cap，fill with clean soft water or coolant.
Second, unscrew the oil dipstick and add CD grade or higher diesel engine oil (2.5 liters).
Pull out the dipstick and check if the oil level is between the upper and lower marks.
Third, remove the air filter and add engine oil to the oil level mark.
Fourth, unscrew the fuel tank cap and add diesel fuel.
Fifth, open the fuel tank valve.
Loosen the fuel injection pump connector bolt until all air is expelled from the fuel line and diesel filter.
Then tighten the fuel injection pump bolt.
Machine starting procedure
First, open the pressure relief valve.
Second, insert the crank handle and crank it quickly.
Release the pressure relief valve at the fastest cranking speed to start the engine using the flywheel’s inertia.
Precautions after starting the machine
First, maintain low-speed operation for 3-5 minutes after starting the machine.
Especially in low-temperature environments, maintain low-temperature operation for an even longer time.
Also, avoid high-load operation immediately after starting the machine.
Check if the oil pressure indicator rises normally.
Inspect for leaks (oil, water, smoke) and any unusual noises.
If any abnormalities are found, stop the machine immediately and check.
Safety Tips
Do not touch or open the radiator cap valve when the machine is hot.
Grip the crank handle firmly when starting to avoid injury from rebound.
